Believe it or not, I am still a believer and am NOT selling my TR, just taking a different direction with it. As a result, I am letting go of all accessories I won’t be using. All prices are in AUD and apart from the AF-XIED, it wouldn’t be practical to post overseas. All items can be picked up if you’re local (bayside, Melbourne) or posted at reasonable cost. 1. Screens for Bikes screen (clear) with all mounting hardware, minor scratches: $50 [sold] 2. Radguard, minor scratches and authentic outback dust: $50 [sold] 3. AF-XIED fuelling device, works perfectly, great bit of kit and made a genuine difference to mine; completely eliminated the off-idle stumble and stalling: $80 4. Bashplate with mounting hardware EXCEPT the two long bolts that replace the OEM engine bolts for the front bashplate mount. The bike shop sold the bike with bashplate fitted and never provided the original engine bolts (the buggers!). They would be easy to get hold of but it’s not worth my while. $40 unless you come and pick it up in which case you can have it for free!
I'll happily take the screen off your hands. I broke my one whilst playing in some sand up near Horsham; chasing some dirtbikes around. I wasn't planning on getting a new one until winter, but you can't beat an offer like this. I'm fairly local so can do pick-up whenever it best suits.
Can I take dibs on the Radguard? Leave it with me for a day to organize either a pickup from a local or a courier.
Thanks for that. I'm also guessing that since you have a Strada the packers required to mount the guard on the Terra are missing? On mine they were to make clearance for the front mudguard.
Not sure I understand? I do actually have the Terra guard on mine and there is/was a slight interference between the high fender and the radguard - not enough to cause any perceptible resistance on the steering.
DeLewis sorry to muck you around but I have to pass on the Radguard. I already have one on my bike but was sourcing one for someone else who has found a local one. As for the fitment, the guards are the same for Terra & Strada but the Terra requires packers for the rear mudguard mounting bolts to tilt it slightly so as to clear the Radguard. They're supplied by Radguard but no biggie if missing. Apologies again.
Hi DeLewis just wondering if you still have the AF-XIED device? and if so what sort of difference did it make in the lower rpm (idle to 3000). thanks
Hi there, It completely smoothed the idle and added significantly to low end torque. Mate, if you want to try it, you can have for the price of the postage. Rather it be used than sit in the drawer. Cheers, Viktor
hi Hi Viktor, yeah mate I'll grab it, not sure how to PM at this stage would you be able to send me a PM and we can work out the details, Cheers
