    Hi,

need to ride at night , and want the Motosportz Husky HID. Will I required the 100w stator for it for my 08 WR250?

Would I also need the 100w stator for the lesser Halogen model to have it running without dimming / flickering?

$500 all up is a lot I think for light considering i'm not racing but understand its the market value. Just wondering whether I should bother or not. I know the difference is amazing between HID and Halogen, but if I can simply spend $90 bucks on the lesser model and have something that does an OK job (stock light is absolutely useless) I will be happy enough.

    thanks for the advice!

I don't think it will run both lights in the HID off the stock stator. It will run the Halogen. I would run the Halogen and if you can afford it get the HID MR16 helmet light. That combo is great for racing. The Halo will light up the area in front of your bike and the very bright HID helmet light lets you see down the trail further and where you are looking (into corners etc)
