I've been on the fence about which of these to order for a while. My knees kill me from being so scrunched up and the factory off road pegs make it worse as they are taller. I was hoping to meet up with some of the Asheville crew to maybe sit on one to get an idea if the Reg (+ 1 in) would be enough.

Well something happened today and I need to order the seat ASAP. What happened you might ask? I had also been debating on getting one for my TE511 but considering as how the stock one flew off while I was doing 75mph on the interstate that decision has now been made for me. The bike was in the truck and I have no clue where/when I lost the seat. Looked for it, no luck. Since I need to order on now I'll go ahead and pull the trigger on the Terra seat as well.

Anyway back to the Terra. I'm 6' tall and wear about a 31" inseam. To be honest when I was thin I wore a 32" and now that I have a gut I guess my waistline has slid down so I now usually wear a 30" inseam. As a test I put a 2x4 under each tire and was still able to tip toe the bike in street shoes and should have a little more sole with my riding boots.

So which seat did you go with, what's your inseam, and do you ever feel like you should have gone with the other option?

I got a Seat concepts. I have fitted it but the drought has finally broken and we haven't been for a ride yet. You have to have a seat base for the TR though. They only sell the foam and covering. Some other bikes they DO sell the whole seat. Don't know about the TE 511.

fyi i purchased the tall and really like it. I'm 6'1'' 215lbs . and i have to tiptoe the bike. I can almost dangle my feet while ride. the extra height doesn't bother me, i stand on the pegs a lot, but it maybe a problem for others. Super comfortable compared to the stock seat.

Seat Concept fitted on Friday. Standard size.
    I have a 32" leg and am 5' 10".
To be honest, I was a little disappointed when I first compared the old and the new foam pad. The concept seat didn't seem that different from the original. A little flatter and just a bit wider with a straight cut behind the riders section.
Once it was fitted and I rode it, the new seat was much better than the original and I was pleased I had done the deal.
Yet to do a long ride so I can't endorse it fully.

I was able to sit on another inmates tall and pulled the trigger. It came in last week and I've done a 300 and a 200 mile days on it and love it. My ass and knees feel so much better.

FWIW, I put a tall Seat Concepts on my Strada and removed the rubber tops to the footpegs. I also raised the bars 2". I'm 6'3" with a 32" inseam. My geared up weight is probably close to 235# and with the thicker foam of the tall seat, it's a bit on the soft side. I'm OK for at least 150 miles with a few breaks, but I think I'd need a bit more support for a longer trip. I may order a +1 on foam density for a replacement.
