Got to ride my litmus test loop (short but telling) on the OEM stock 2013 Sherco 300i. Great front end glued to the ground front end, great motor. Just a super easy bike to ride and ride fast. Stock suspension was very loose for me (I'm too heavy), all this bike would need for me is proper springs. If 300i riders both Dave Knight and Anders Eriksson like it, for sure it can be set up for big riders. This bike picks up perfectly where the Husky 310 line dies. This is a very clear option for those like me are fans of the 310 (300cc 4T) formula. Thanks Chilly.
I have heard this from several people. yes thanks. And did you not say you thought the 250 2 stroke Sherco was ever better?
I did not have my TXC310R its back in the shop. I had my 2011 TE310, and back to back it was very evident that the blackhead is good but much slower revving than the new tech 300cc
In the shop again? Sorry man, that really sucks. I went to go rent the 310 for the last race of the season and they gave me the 13 310. Amazing the difference between the two. The 13 310 it's almost hard to keep the front wheel down . The Sherco is really interesting but with new bike prices I'd probably go with their 2 stroke.
not a Husky issue per se it was a material fail of an aftermarket part, just one of those things and no real fault of the parts company, it was subcontracted part fail.
