250-500cc shock fitment

i have a 2002 wr 250 and i want to change the rear shock.do other motorcycle models fit mine.

some of the years around yours will
360 and 250 are the same, pretty sure the 125 is, 4 strokes are different

whats wrong with the one you have?

just want to do an update with a showa or kayaba or fox i think they are better an more parts available.

I don't think it's worth it. The Sachs is very good. Just needs a little valving.

isnt the best shock the one thats valved amd sprung correctly? long as its a decent shock to begin with thats adjustable?
