I need advice about if I should change my shock spring on my 08 SM610 for a softer one.
I weigh 168lb and wont be taking any passengers, i removed the rear pegs, so i dont need to compromise.
If anyone could help me with a spring rate i should using and any advice about settings, it would be appreciated, thanks.

Also, if all goes to plan i will be sorting out my forks, but i know what i want from them, they will be softer.
If it works out, i will post a thread with details.

Te610 stock spring is a 6.4 on a te ( not sure about sm ) - which is maybe a tad stiff for your weight , but not much . I went a 6 and i am about 70kg .

All the magic is in the valving , you need correct spring weights but the valving is what transforms a bike .

Racetech have a calculator on there site to calculate .
