Went for a 60 Km ride today with three friends with Quads. Everyone else just said it was to hot to ride. Wanted to get up to a higher elevation were it was a little cooler. We headed North to the mountains. Found a little water to cool off with. Friends on the Quads didn't feel the heat as much. That's Dunn's peak in the back ground. The meadows still were a little slimy...waiting for the Quads. Even had time to take a pic of a Indiana Paint Brush.
It may be hot up there, but at least it's lush and you found some water to play in. if I weren't so lazy, I'd give my eye teeth to have a place like that down here in the summer.
COOL..... Hey Dave was that you bombing that water puddle..... OH the weather has been hot...just make sure you got plenty of water to drink..... great shots......
One of my Quad buddy's sent a couple more pics my way. Chose you line carefully. A look down before the descent.
holy smoke And according to the weather reports.....its been getting hotter and hotter...setting records I hear is that right Dave???
I would watch posting too many pics of quads making mud out of meadows....the government is watching and it seems like some hefty fines. We were up at Apex in penticton last weekend and there were signs all over the place. Nice scenery up there!
