    Gday All,
The time has come to lash out on a new pair of boots.
I would like to get a pair os Sidi Crossfires to replace my old Gaerne's.
OMG I am still in shock, $780.00 Is what I've been quoted.
IMO we are getting ripped of here in OZ.
What is a set of Sidi Crossfires worth in the USA or Europe?
The names of any online sidi dealers that post to Australia would be greatly appreciated.
I don't mind paying a bit more to buy in Oz, but being completetely ripped off I just won't come at.

Crossfire SA's are $525 here in the US. A lot of people like them. I found they run two sizes small and are VERY narrow. I couldn't wear them.

I went with Gaerne SG12s and couldn't be more happy. Great boot.

Crossfires SRS are $525 and TA are $475. I have the TA and love them. Two years and the soles are still almost like new. If I were to ship you a pair would you have to pay a tax or something? I just don't get why they would be that expensive over there.

The manufacturing companies are having a lend of us here in Oz, nothing surer.
I have purchased a few goodies for my 449 from the US and have never had to pay a tax yet.
A mate of mine purchased an as new 2nd hand Harley from the US for 15,000 and had to pay 10% GST tax when it landed here. The same model Harley here is well over 30,000.
    Go figure

My local shop didn't have Sidi's in stock but could get them in.
They were pushing for Alpinestar tech 10's, I tried a pair on and was a size 10 but didn't like the booty idea and found them pricks of things to walk in!
Gaerne sg12's look like a bloody nice boot. But are even more expensive than the sidi here in Oz.

475 from motorcycle superstore. com, not sure if they will hit you in Oz but they are an online store. I have had mine (TA) over a year as well and love them to death.

I bought Crossfire TAs from BikeBandit.com during their Black Friday sale. They had 20% off 'all' items on their website, so they came to $380 (originally $475). Even with shipping to Canada and taxes, they showed up at my door for a total of $465. The most similar boot in Canada retails for $649 (plus tax).

The fit seems good with size 47 (US 12.5). I wore a 12 in my Tech 3s.

Who knows, maybe they'll have a similar sale around Christmas. I've been looking to get these boots for ages, so patience certainly paid off for me.

I imported my Crossfire SRS from BTO, cost me $500.00 Oz & where here in 3 days. You can't even get the 2011s in Oz, but they advertise them.
I got the red & black combo

Us poor Aussies are always getting ripped off. There's several posts on dirtbikeworld about where to get them from in the US for about $500. Best pair of boots I have ever had, but the SRS are narrow so you need a size bigger. I suggest you try some on first here and order from the US. I have the SRS with the standard MX sole and optional Enduro sole. Takes a little time to change soles and I prefer them to the TA's. Don't need any breaking in at all and really comfy.

I would not over look the Sidi Chargers as well . I have the Crossfires and the Chargers and have to say the chargers are a little more comfortable and $100 cheaper $375.00

How would you compare them protection wise? I have never seen the Chargers except in pictures but it looked like a bit less toe protection? Or is the main difference in the calf adjustability?

They seem to be the same except the ankle has a little more flex and they don't have all the parts you can replace .

hey glenn i just got my brand new sidi crossfire ta's(blk&wht-sweet looking/feeling boots!) for $370 delivered to me door & im in FNQ! yeah were being bent over the barrel here in OZ & i cant believe the bike shops whinge about online shopping when they try & charge us double-id shop local if they were half reasonable. i think the site was motox in germany(ill double check & get back to you) & you have to pay by credit card-standard i guess-& they took about 5-6 weeks for delivery but when your paying half price thats ok by me. cheapest ive seen em in oz was $575 on special. they are a bit narrow & i went a size bigger but they feel pretty good to me & i gota fairly broad foot. brother just got a pair of gaerne sg10's from bto sports in the states for $400 delivered, also a nice boot but i like the look of the sidis. price fluctuates but with our dollar over parity its still good buying. srs are slightly more. mates had his crossfires for over 3 years & has only had to replace 1 strap & resole em, quality!

That's a great price! I would've ordered black & white as well, but they weren't available so I just ordered black.

Out of curiosity, did you get any spare parts with your order? I've heard some people received spare circlips for the ankle joint, but I only received some stickers and a couple pamphlets.
