125-200cc sight glass

Is thier a way to take out the sight glass on my 2012 125

i think there's a clip/cage/reflector thingy n stuff on the inside? ugh. cant recall. seen one guy plug it with a rubber expansion plug. not too hip on that though cuz rubber dont dig that environment and then there's a nut that can come loose and go get eaten by something but its a good thing for the pack in case ya zot it out on the track. seen plexi-glass used as permenent fix too. i slilconed a 'fat tire' beer bottle cap over mine for roost/stick protection.

I think it is replaceable. It is on my list of things to do in the next two weeks... Although I'm running an 09, mine is gouged and scratched, and non-transparent anymore...

the inspection plug, as it's called, is P# 8000 53340. dont see any clips or screws holding it in. i dont think i ever had mine out. dumb place for a hunk of glass on an enduro bike!
