250-500cc Silencers and spark arrestors

    Does the stock wr300 silencer have a spark arrestor? I looked on the can and it's nit stamped usfa. Forest approved. I need a sparky for a race coming up. I would hate to ship my bike to the big island only to be dq'ed on simple little spark thingy. I would prefer to use the stock silencer.

    It has one in it (that spiral looking thing in the end) and the owners manual says it's USFS approved but there's no stamp on it.

    You sure about that? I don't think they come with the sparky any more. FMF makes one for it.

    My 09' stocker is not USFS stamped, but it has a sparky in there. I saw it when I took it apart to repack it.

    Sweet thanks! I did peek in there and it has the turbine looking thing. I will pull out the manual and make a copy in case there is any question. Good one less thing to buy for the race.
