All 2st Simple fuelgauge!

I was tired of not knowing how much fuel i had left in my tank on my WR 300 so i came up with a simple solution to the problem. I did like this:

I took a long black plastic strap, the one that you use for cables and stuff. I took one which was about 5mm wide. I removed the tankcap, and then i removed the grey rubber sealing inside the cap.
I took the plastic strap and pushed it through one of the small holes in the sealer from the inside. After that i measured the length of it and cut it to just reach the bottom of the fueltank. DONE!
If you want a more precise measuring you just cut small V-grooves in the strap for every 1/2 gallon or something. It´s easy to see where the level is on the strap now. Just a tip!
