    Hey guys,

Anyone know if the Scorpian skid plate works on the '06 WR125 frame? Their website lists '07 as the earliest year.

I called and spoke to Steve at Scorpian, he said they haven't been able to verfiy fit on the earlier bikes because they don't have any dealers/access to the bikes. He said he has a bunch of them in inventory that he would love to sell.

I just got the Ricochet skid plate, was VERY excited that it showed up at my door so fast. First impression, wow, this box looks small. That's weird. Turns out the damn thing isn't very big, doesn't extend back past the drain whole area far at all. No protection for the frame back by the peg area at all. Wings up front do not go up very high either.

    Total bummer.

If someone could confirm fitment or not of the Scorpian for the '06 model year, I'd really appreciate it.

    Thanks!

06 and 07 and 08 are the same frame.

Thanks for the info guys! I'll pass it along to Steve at Scorpian. He's a real nice guy, would be nice to see him move more of his inventory and keep him supporting the brand. -Ed

I picked up some rad guards from scorpion. Nice product good fit. Would take one of those skid plates from them. But that price is hefty compared to the one I fabbed up.

Yep, Steve was telling me that he'd like to be able to price his pieces lower in order to be more competitive in the US, he's working on some arrangements around that now.

Here's some pics of the Ricochet skid plate on my '06 WR125 if anyone is interested. Its a nice fit and looks like a quality piece. Just doesn't extend far enough back IMO. I'm worried about the frame rails back there getting hammered.

Ricochet sells to a lot of suppliers, probably IS the same plate.
