I have a 99 WR360 that has began to get a bit sloppy downshifting into first... sometimes you have to shift up into third and then back down to coax it into first. Started slowly but has gradually gotten a bit worse and is now starting to be a pain in the neck. Any prognosis? I'm hoping its the selector mechanism and not the shifting forks themselves... Any help would be appreciated, I'd like to track down the parts before I tear it down if at all possible. Thanks, Rodd
Most of the shifting problems on 250/300/360 can be the centerbolt/screw in the shift drum coming loose ,if not the end of the catching mech. on the shaft can be bent, broke or just worn .A couple springs in there can also cause this.Just need to take the cover off and take a look.billf
