So here's the license plate mount I made. Pretty basic, all you need is a marker, drill, four windscreen well nuts, four license plate bolts and this fancy piece of .25" plastic I machined. The blinker assemblies I'd like to redo a bit but they were done a while ago and are pretty basic as well...

I did some license plate holder myself. Made two basic sheets and mounted them with the screws of the back light to the back fender. First sheet is for the turn signals and the second one is for the license plate, license plate light and the reflector...

I moved my plate like Master_E did on my 630 too. Today i had to turn in to a alcohol test by the highway, and the police was not happy with my numberplate in this angle. Now i have to show my bike at the local traffic station with the number plate in it's original position. :banghead:

Mine is similar to the OP's, but I just took a Dremel to the stock mudflap to make the plate holder, leaving the factory black stuff intact all the way out to the end of the white fender, including the part that holds the turn signals.

Here's a pic I have online. Trying to put it up via my phone and it's not cooperating. Not sure if the link will work.

Same here.... I just hacked-off all the lower stuff. Then, sanded it down so you'd never know it's missing. I think it looks really good. Plus I didn't have to mess with the turn signals.

The only down-side would be if a cop writes me up. I'd have to buy a replacement for the piece I hacked to get the bike legal again.

Yeah. Law enforcement is pretty lax about that stuff here. If you're insured and have your endorsement, you're usually good to go.

Sorry it's off topic, but what kind of sliders are those? Nice that they can be used to lift the bike!

I would love to do that but would need to come up with a license plate light. I have ran across at least one cop that gave me a fix it ticket for not having the light on my hacked VFR plate holder.

I've never had that problem here, but if I did, there's room above the plate for the stock plate light
