sm610 ie steady idle?

have done a search for this but couldn't find an answer. my idle fluctuates between 1600 and 1700. this isn't really a problem but is this normal or are they supposed to hold their idle rpm? it's got all the stock nonsense on there at the mo - o2 sensor, cat...

it's only got about 3500 miles on it so would be well early for coils although i have noticed a little rust on the coil mount which may indicate corrosion somewhere else round there...

Mine does the same.A little up and down is normal...

thanks for the feedback mate. i suspect when i get my full system and the plug for the o2 sensor it should settle it down. we'll see

Mine fluxtuates between 1500 and 1600 after the X3 slip on and O2 sensor removed.
