I found a service manual online that says the axle nut on the rear wheel is supposed to be torqued to 104.8 ft/lbs. That sounds insanely high to me, can anyone here verify that? Or suggest what to torque it to? My local shop doesn't have the specs and thought it sounded high too.

It’s 90 ft. Lbs. in the 2010 manual for 250-510

According to TE 630 service manual 142.1nm or 104.8 ft/lb

Different model and year but that does seem a lot more reasonable.

That's what is says in the SM610 service manual I found too. You've had no problems torquing it to that spec hey?
