Ok so yeah... I know this seems like a strange question... But...

Wondering if anyone has a cure to get the neoprene on the back of the Asterisk knee braces to stop smelling?

I have tried all kinds of soaps, sprays and even soaked then in viniger... What ever I do only seems to help a bit but a few rides later...

Helmet liner freshener spray. Once the neoprene gets stinky there's not much we can do but mask it.

I stink my stuff up every few days ... it seems after the new coating is gone, they smell like me ....

This VS1 stuff helps temporarily ...

I like to make sure these things dry completely by putting them somewhere to dry completely ... I'll even burn'em in the hot sun light here.

Okay this may sound weird: Put them in the freezer. It works wonders for my fitness gear (shake cup) and kickboxing shine guards.

Try sitting in the same space as my hockey gear bag. Your skin will peel right off.

bring em in the shower with you scrub them with a wash brush and mild soap and put them out under the sun to dry... or what the other guys said. this what I do with all my non wash machine gear. works pretty well.

Had a similar problem with my vest in the summer. Here is what I do for the Kevlar panels that can not be washed and it cures it for a couple weeks. I remove the panels from the vest and us a Clorox wipe to clean them and then I lay them stinky side up in the sun on the back deck for an afternoon. The UV seems to kill almost everything that is stinking up the panels for a couple weeks. Not a permanent cure but at least I can sit in a car with myself! :busted:

Put them in the freezer. Sounds weird, but it works.
