is there a difference between the SMS 630 SMR 630 I bought a 2011 SMR 630 but I've also seen it called an SMS there has probably already been a discussion about this but couldn't find it Thanks
You sure it's not an SMS? The ooold 630's were SMRs, the new ones are SMSs. Mine is registered and insured as an SMR, because the SMS wasn't in the system at the time.
That is most likely the case because mine is reg and insured as an Smr but i have not received the title yet it is the same year as yours. I wasn't sure cause I heard people talking about a different country versions or maybe I just got a super secret special one
There is no difference between the bikes. As far as I know Husqvarna named the 2011 models SMR and the later ones SMS but the bike is the same. It also exists a SMR 630 Eddy Seel Replica but this is a totally different bike and only for race track.
The new 630's were '10 and '11 ony in the US and all were SMS (or TE). Now what they are registered and insured as is another story. Unless someone has seen a SMR-stickered 630...
Canada as well has only the SMS in '10 and '11. Mine is an SMS630 and is registered as that. I notice that Riz has SMR stickers on his 630 in the phillipines. Cam.
no worries, mate! I am a bit jealous with Phillipine's (and Thailand's) local bike market though...they've got waaaay more options than we do
