I finally got out to the high desert for a ride after two months. It was a spur of the moment opportunity and I only got to ride for two hours, but it was a great two hours! I haven't been able to get together with my good ol' TE for quite a some time. Sure felt good to hit the dez singletracks with him today. The weight and height of the machine seemed to melt away and disappear out on the twisties and over the rocks. Perfect weather, too. Yes, this really is the color of the high desert in some places where a zillion tiny yellow wild flowers blanket the earth. I had a great time, even if I was all by myself. I hope I can get out again soon and ride a bit longer.

Awesome! Glad to see someone is getting out and riding. We're supposed to get 15-20" of snow in the mtns around here today
Did the LR singletrack route for the mostpart. A good way not to run into all the other fun seekers out there,
nice I missed the moist conditions, DD, I hope (when i get back off the road) to maybe put a girls trail ride together, both Frans and Allies bikes are prepped for action.
