let's just get it together, no real big planning needed. Just show up with yer Husky and join the race/ride/training,,how ever you want to think of it. 1 hour XC/moto on the national course plus all the extra routes thrown in.
Great organization, safe with lots of flaggers, fast slow no matter just go!!
lets see how many we can bring together. 20 buck Glen entry, 35 post or non member gate fee. R

maybe T can stake out a pit location????? I plan on arriving for the show,,again no preview/practice, enduro/xc style, first lap for sighting.

    head count???

Do I have to do anything besides show up? I live like an hour from there and if I don't have anything going on I could make it. I have always wanted to check out Glen Helen. Do I have to compete in the race to ride, and if so, what is it like? Im not much of a track guy, more a desert/Baja rider.

Imagine the Cahuilla Creek Main on steroids......!

THis is a approx 3.5 mile GP Moto X track including the outdoor national track and the REM Motocross track and a bunch of other stuff..... very fun.... You can pay $10.... ride two practice laps and then decide if you want to race.... You would be in 250 class /age 22 if memory serves.

If you decide to race you then pony up $35 for the entry fee. Race lasts approx one hour / 4 to 7 laps depending upon layout....

You do not have to commit to racing until after you do the practice laps...

Track riding is fun and after the first lap and the start you get spread out pretty well.... lead, follow or get out of the way of the faster riders sums it up....

You will do just fine and I look forward to seeing you out there!

So Cool Rob that finally someone else is posting up for the SRA GP!

I always park in the same place right behind the line! Keeping the Husky Front and Center for everyone to see!

I will be there at a 6:30 or so and will try and stake out some spots..... depending on head count we may want to move out into the main parking lot.... but you have to admit I have a great spot!

Unlike you' I prefer to run the practice laps and avoid the nasty getoof surprises at full racepace

I will be there , along with Chip and Todd and maybe a few of my other crew..we have been riding Perris quite a bit....

and the Glen is only $10 on race day ! + $35 if you race

BBQ For SRA Guys ( and Gals)

Ok - here is the deal.... any of you Husky Regulars that comes out on their Husky to Glen Helen to either race or cheer us on in the pits is invited over to my house after the SRA race for Beers and BBQ ..... and not just any BBQ .... Joe's Real BBQ from Gilbert, Arizona. (I'm sure some of you Arizona Guys are familiar with it.....)

My Gorgeous wife and I will have slow roasted BBQ Pulled Pork and Ice Cold Beer, potato salad etc... food will be ready at 1:30.... enough time for everyone to load up after the Vet or Senior race, knock the sweat down to a minimum and head over

Also planning on having the spa set for 103 degrees for all the after race aches and pains.....bring your board shorts and an appetite....

Rob .... that includes you and the euro a.m. crew.... Same with you Rajo. PM me if you will be/can attend....

Hey Rob.... not to be a downer but the after BBQ is cancelled due to what I told you about this evening. I will still be there at 6:30 for the race though!

Come on Husky Riders!...... Come out and represent or at least show some support for Rob and I!

Will be parked right behind the Glen Helen starting line at the north end... look for two Husky's.... shouldn't be hard to find..... it is right on the main drag through the pits...... I always get there early to get a sweet pit location.... Husky's front and center....!

Hey only trackside sponsorship will take place!!! I will need to do my sighting lap on the first lap of the race (again). Will leave SD @ 0500, may have a family pit crew out for the show.

Testing new gear components Acerbis Koerta (may be a little too hot) and new helmet lightest made, Airoh
