About a month ago, I bought a 2010 KTM 200 XC-W. I never bonded with it, and I should have been smart enough to realize I'm not a 2 stroke kind of guy.

So, after 5 hours of "trying to bond", I opted to trade for a 2010 TXC 250. I LOVE the TXC !!!

After my WR 300 experience, you would think I realized I was not a 2 stroke rider. This is not to say the KTM 200 is not a great bike. It is. But it's just a great bike for 2 stroke riders... a VERY great bike. If only Husky made a 200.

So, ask me how I like the TXC...:thumbsup::thumbsup::notworthy::cheers:

    Krieg,

Glad to hear you are dazed and amazed about your TXC. My feelings are mutural about the new 200 XC-W parked in my garage. Hopefully one of these days Husqvarna will update the two stroke bikes and I'll be back on one. Until then, the XC-W is the perfect bike for me. Patiently waiting and will keep posting with my Husky bud's.

Bob, the wife caught me caressing the seat of the TXC with my hand today when she entered the garage on her way home from work! I defined it as "bonding"... she rolled her eyes!:lol::lol: I'm glad you feel the same way about the 200.

BTW, this Saturday is an actual race at Top Gun... not a practice... so Cody and I will be there with the TC 250 ready to race. I think gates are open at 10AM.

I get the same level of rolled eyes when caught fondling my 144. No apologies though.

    Krieg,

That's pretty good. Every morning when we leave to go to work I always pat my bike on the seat and smile. Got to work Saturday, but wish Cody good luck on the TC. He sure looked in control of that machine yesterday.

Hey Krieg, make sure you take that little switch off the right side of the handlebar. Remember real men kick. Congratulations on the new addition, you make me look sane.

So Krieg how do you like the new 2010 HUSKY TXC250? I was ready to wait and get the new 150 Husky but after many laps on my son's Tc250 I 'm about as sure as you are on which bike to get LOL. So lay it out, how is it?

Rode it again yesterday (took a day off work just to ride!). Basically, I'm in love. It's definitely heavier than the TC 250 (and you can notice as you ride or even taking it off the trailer), but it still has much of the same effortless "think, flick, twist and go" handling. 1st gear feels lower than the TC so I think it's easier to launch from a standstill or especially after you stall it in the woods. It's definitely NOT as strong as the TC, but in a good way. Compared to my '09 TXC, it is LIGHT YEARS better in handling and slightly better in the motor department. I gotta get some more hours on it and get it tweaked to my liking. Is it a winner??? HELL yeah! :applause::cheers:

Very cool thanks for the quick report. So do you still have the 09 TXC 250?

Ok I was just wondering. BTW not that it matters but I don't doubt your loyalty to Husky. Heck you've sold and purchashed more Husky's than the dealership we use to have. Once your new TXC is broken in and set up, a compairson write up between the 09 and 10 would be good reading.

I agree with John01, a comparo would be an interesting read. Can we look forward to one?

I think you should say a few "hail Torsten" as penance.
