Just saw this on e-bay (US), someone seems to be parting a new Strada up in Washington. Thought I'd let you guys know in case there was anyone needing some stock replacement parts. Not mine, no affiliation. I saw it and cried a bit inside. Not a lot of these bikes, and it seems a shame that that one didn't get to be flogged for 10s of thousands of miles.
We never got those over here, but I wanted one badly. At first I thought I might be settling for the Strada, but I quickly realized it's the bike the bike I really wanted all along.
The bike was not "new" it had 2500 miles on it. The pricing on those parts on ebay seem a bit steep to me. The few I looked at were 90% of what new would cost from KTM parts.com. I offered 70% of new and got turned down. For only a 10% saving, I'll buy new parts.
