I have a '11 WR150, didn't come with the spark arrestor, and the one race series I do requires you to have one. The shop I go through put an FMF universal one on in the Fall but have had a lot of issues with it backing out mid-ride (just crappy clamp system for it and we've tried a few things and still issues), nothing like mid-ride and having it fall off. So I have been using the stock muffler, but now with this series starting up again I need to get something with a spark arrestor. Are there any out there that are just bolt on and fit like the stock one? Or can you get a spark arrestor for the stock one?

The FMF turbine core is what I have on my 125. It bolts right on like stock, it is a little longer and a little quieter. FMF Item ID: 025113

Or make tabs for your universal and have them welded on.

The other option is the Leo Vince. It is not listed on the website but they do make one for the 125/150 because I am using one on my 165. They also give you option to removed the Spark Arrestor if not needed everytime you ride.

The Leo Vince muffler works great. It's very quiet and well made and it seems to add a bit of low end. The spark arrestor is an afterthought. A thimble sized screen that plugs up easily.

Are you sure it didn't come with one stock? My 11 wr300 came with one and the manual said that all wr's come with a spark arrestor. They are not stamped as such, but you can not see all the way thru them. And when purchasing the bike, the two dealers I went to didn't even know that it came with it stock.

You do have to watch the screen on these and the EE silencers no doubt.

I thought the WR had a spark arrestor and the CR did not.

Nope. The WR125s and CR125s all come with a muffler and a sticker that says the bike is for closed course competition only. The sticker saves them a lot of money.
