Is it ok if i use a B8ES spark plug as an emergency spare?

    Rather then the B8EG fitted?

Only difference is electrode type, one is a standard plug other is racing plug.

Havent had time to get another plug and got one of these spare and goin for a ride tomorrow, my jetting appears rich and its been on this plug for 300klms and im worried it may foul up and was going to use the B8ES just in case.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks

As far as I know you should be okay.. I have a 2007 Husqvarna WR250 and use a BR8EG (the "R" being a resistor plug).. Some say I can substitute
with a BR8ES.. But I have heard some say that their bike would not run with a BR8ES and had to use a BR8EG (hope that made sense).. My advice
is try it at home before you leave.. Good luck and cheers..

I use BR8ES plugs all the time. Works fine.

I've been using both B8ES and B8EG on my WR250. No Problem.

I paid less for a BR8EG.. Paid $57.50 for 42 plugs.. So $1.37 each (they are $6.95 plus tax for each one in Canada)..
Got enough plugs for me and few friends for probably life now (good thing four of us ride Husqvarna WR250/CR250)..

Got another smokin deal just the other day.. Paid $18.45 for 8 X SKF 63005-2RS (ø25xØ47x16 mm rear hub bearing)..
So $2.31 each (they are $36.00 or more plus tax for each one in Canada)..

    thats heaps cheap mate.

But yeah i was also asking cause the B8ES is much cheaper the the EG, unless bulk buying like tire flyer :P
