All 2st Speedo cable issue

    Trail tech endurance 2 speedo with Oem cable. One of the wires for the pick up cable snapped up near bars/connector. Cut the plugs off & tried soldering wires together today but can't get a reading. Rest of cable looks fine(internally not sure though) so I'm stumped. The cable itself is just 2 black wires & the computer has red n black wires so tried joining in both configurations but nothing. Can u test cables at all to check internal integrity or dumb question? Anyone have a spare cable they wanna sell(Ktm/husky/berg all same)?

    Power connection is fine so speedo is ok

    Other Motorcycles:
    ducati monster suzuki RM 250
    You can test continuity of the cables with a multi meter.
