250-500cc Speedo cutting out at 50 km/h

    Husqvarna Motorcycle:
    2009 WR 300
    Hi guys,
    I have a 2009 WR 300 with an original speedo but it cuts out at about 50 km/h, any ideas?
    Also what is the best g/box oil to run? Mine keeps wanting to stall at idle in 1st gear even with the clutch cable at min' free-play.

    Wish I had an answer for the speedo woes ..... Mine cuts in and out at various times.... I'm gonna get an after market one...
