Always hard to gauge exactly how a proto really looks when its dressed in disruptive camo, but that's why the factories do it. Will be of interest to folks who want to eat a few freeway miles. Not sure about luggage / pillion possibilities, but for commuting plus that 100 mile blast to the campsite at the weekend it might be the tool. http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/bikes/husqvarna-nuda-touring-spy-photo/
It's hard to tell if they did a full front fairing or just a larger nose mask I would LOVE to see a proper KTM SMT contender... It'll probably look more like the Aprilia
Apart from the seat. That part was defo not built with endurance in mind. (The shop down the road from me has a couple). The tank might need an extra gallon for the wild blue yonder too. That Aprillia does look pretty neat.
I think the Nuda could be the basis for an adventure bike given the genesis of its motor etc. It would be pricey but putting a bigger front wheel on, a bash plate, hand gards and some extra gas and It would do the business imho
You might be jumping the gun a bit here Ghte We're talking about a 17" front wheel, "Super Motard Tourer"......à la KTM's SMT..... I believe we are still two years a way from the Touratech X-cross OEM attempt ....and why the fook do I even care, it's not like Husqvarna bothers to sale this bike in my country...
They are Just got my second one last week -- my girlfriend bought my old one with 15,000km on Busy doing Some Carbon on her Now
That's what the Husky guys at the NW Gathering were saying it would look like if it came to the states...Like a V-Strom. BARF. I don't want a V-Strom. I want a roadster.
I was looking for a touring bike for an upcoming adventure ride around the coast of Australia. I looked at a lot of bikes and was leaning toward a GS650 Sertao or second hand Dakar650. Then I can across a cheap Cagiva Navigator. I had never ever heard of this bike but one ride and I was hooked - awesome bike. Purchased it straight away then a few months later the TR650 came on the market at a really good price. The TR650 would have been ideal but I am not regretting the Cagiva. It is a great touring / off highway bike. Since the photo I have sources painiers, racks, bash plate, centre stand etc. I reckon this is the best bike that nobody has ever heard of.....
