FE/FC Stock bashguard

    I recently hit a rock with the side of my stator cover on my '16 FE501. It wasn't bad but the guard doesn't have much side protection. I was thinking of getting an aluminum one although I would miss the convenient quick release.
    How is the stock, plastic bashguard working for you? (or which brand are you using? )

    So far my stock Huskypower plastic bashguard is holding up good. I agree though extra side protection would be nice. I safety wire the D ring on mine for piece of mind. Would hate to loose the bashguard and my linkage skid!
