I'm not going to be on my Strada, but will be on my FJR and riding the Iron Butt Rally starting Monday morning. That's an 11 day - 11,000 mile competitive scavenger hunt of about 100 riders taking off from Pittsburgh. They have GPS tracking of riders and a Daily Report for those wanting to follow along. I have some background and setup information on my blog. Maybe I'll ride my Strada in the next one.
Nice one! There are 3 Australians taking part in the IBR this year (well, 4 including 1 pillion). I know all these guys so I'll be following the IBR to see how they travel along this year. Good luck to you Ignaciob, I'll keep and eye out for your name in the reports too. I guess we won't be hearing from you for 11 days !
Final standings see ignaciob 5th place. Only 67 of the 98 or so bikes started completed the rally. One rider completed 13,380 miles in the 11 days. Here's a neat time lapse youtube of the spot tracks of the rally competitors
