anyone run straight coolant in their bike i.e no water mixed in? mate runs his bike with straight coolant & reckons its fine & increases boiling point a fair bit! ive always run 50/50 ethyl glycol coolant & demineralised/de-ionised/distilled water. any thoughts? if it aint gonna hurt & only help stop overheating then why not i guess? always hot where i live by the way

Straight coolant will not cool the engine as much as 50/50.

Your freeze point will be much lower but who rides when it is 20 below out?

Agreed. Straight coolant wont work as well as a 50/50 mix. I run plain distilled water with Water Wetter and have good luck with that. Engine Ice has also treated me good. A 50/50 mix hasnt really ever let me down either when I keep moving. If the summer time tight stuff I like a bit more protection.

i believe water is a faster heat conductor than glycol as per aluminium to steel , stick with 50/50 for above antarctic conditions.

Straight coolant doesn't cool as well but also doesn't boil as fast. So if your bike is prone to boiling , I might consider it. My WR150 runs cool so I run a good blended coolant. StarCool seems to work very well and is made by the Starbright company that makes StarTron enzyme fuel treatment that helps counter some of the adverse effects of alcohol laced fuel.
