TE/TC Strapless bike tie down

    That looks pretty awesome. Of course it's only going to be as secure as the lag bolts through the floorboard provide.

    I put in an angle iron frame that ties in between the frame. Feels really solid but haven't used it yet.

    My mx lift stand uses a similar hold down through the pegs. Solid mount, no issues.

    I'd like to discontinue my account
    I have six of these in my trailer at an angle, works great and no tie downs, the only down fall I can see is after some time it could be hard on wheel bearings. X001.jpg

    I have used the bike shoe's for years and no issue with wheel bearings.

    I'm not a big fan of big shoes....

    right now I strap front wheel in and strap handler bar to side of van....

    in past in my box van it had something similar... a turn buckle on either side while sitting on a bike stand.... I like the idea of not on wheels while traveling

    If you ever use the bike shoe, you will be a fan and will not go back to the old tie down!

    The bike is under its own weight so both tires touch. Bars are pretty firm when turning them.
