So on my 09 Husky, I hit the three hour mark. As part of what I considered to be routine maintenance, I tore down the rear linkage and swingarm... cleaned, re-greased, and was re-assembling. I had my torque wrench
set to the proper tq of 38.6ft/lb and either didn't feel the click, or the bolt/nut were faulty... cause something let loose. I can neither tighten nor loosen the bolt. I can't pull it out. I'm GUESSING that the threads on the bolt or nut tore loose. Any hints as to how to get this thing off so I can replace it?

I really hate the thought of taking a grinder to a brand new bike.

    Thanks!

Thank you! That's the only route I'd thought of. Meant to say I was going to sears after church and see if I could snag one.

Oh, and before I make another mistake... the rest of the linkage is supposed to be 59 ft/lb's right??

BWWWWWAAAAAAA ! I got it off... but the nut splitter didn't work for me. :( I spent the last hour with a Dremel.

I bought this nut splitter from Craftsman - Craftsman Nut Splitter

I think the design of the one you linked to would have worked better. The angle of the "nub" on this one was such that it just rode up the nut, and rounded it over the top of the bolt.
