Aftermarket ECU? I'm slowly building my bike for the Simpson Desert and as we are all well aware of this bikes only real flaw is the ecu and not knowing anything about coding how hard is it? I know that the loncin voge 650 and the new bsa have a rotax where Is the problem with tuning one there ecu's for the tr? If there was such a thing I think every tr owner would get one and personally I would get two.
It is my understanding that the DIY Microsquirt ecu can handle the job. It would be like building the system but using the sensors on the bike. Don't know if it would play nice with the dash, but that could all be updated. Dash is near impossible to read anyway. There is a facebook group for this ecu, you might want to poke around there too.
