I find that my boots get caught on the sub frame bolts locking my foot on the peg. It's a little scary not being able to get it loose right away. I will replace the brake bolts to match as well. I looked at a hardware store for a round headed allen bolt but they only had it in SAE. Any suggestions.
    I have A-star tech 10 boots.

I started trying to build some frame guards, but didn't come up with a good design. Now that you mention it, I think I will try again. If it works, I'll post a picture for you.

If you are just looking for the bolts you can find them at McMaster Carr.

Just look in the bolt section. Easy to find, fast shipping.

I went to Fastenal and got some Button Socket Cap Screws to match the stock sub frame and brake caliper bolts. Cost $1.30. They should be fine. All I needed was a rounded surface instead of a sharp hex head. They sit closer to the frame too. I'll stick with these and just ride. I started desiging frame guards but thought that the bolts where and easier fix.
Don't go to Home Depot. They don't have them. Tried a True Value, no luck. You will probably need to go to a specialty store like Fastenal.
