I will be at the Sumter National Enduro on Jan 31. Who else is going? If enough guys are going, maybe we can organize a meet and greet party? I would supply a case or 2 of Canadian beer for after race celebrations.
Like most of the "snow blind/cabin fever" northerners, I nmally make the plgrimage but this year missed out on sending my entry in time as plans got sorted out here. I am doing the Fla GNCC, Alligator Enduro, and then the Ga. GNCC (3 big races in the span of 5 days! 2-7 march) Was thinking about taking a couple of daze and bumming down ther to check it out though.....will keep you posted
Don't miss out on the SETRA Sandlapper Enduro in SC, it's the weekend before the Alligator and it is a great enduro. My favorite of the series last year. I'll be at pretty much everything from now until either my body gives out or my bike does. Every Nat'l Enduro, every SETRA Enduro and I'll throw in the General GNCC and Fla GNCC for good measure too.
I had planned on going but its the same weekend as our banquet, our club is hosting it this year and I wanted to be part of the husky display
Oh snap...I almost forgot about the banquet! I am gonna be there to see the displays. Then perform "pre-season hydration techniques". Am not gonna hit the dinner. Bar. Staying over night so thats not a good omen for the King Phillip crew. I promise to try to be on my best behavior PS Whats the Husky display gonna be? Hopefully you with your #1 plate and shoving it in the face of the far too numerous orange riding New England crowd. Either that or a Sam Adams taste test with every new 250 customer. (you can demo the bike.....I will demo the taste test) Joe
Im pretty sure rob will be there,I know my dealer Wagner motorsports is bringing a huge display of bikes,Im hoping to have my red #7s on the bike, its on the way up to my dealer now,be the first time I see it at the banquet
For months, I had planned to enter, looking forward to the event. I hadn't kept up with the SETRA site, and when I looked again, registrations had been open for two weeks. Too late, all filled up. I couldn't believe it! I was pissed for a week. BOTOH, row 119? Let's see, the old school math sez that's 590 riders that have tore up the trail prior. Hmmm, maybe it's good to stay home afterall.
I am going to try and make it as a spectator. Torn ligaments in right hand and some bone fractures but, as BentAero can attest to, I am slow anyway.
Anyone who has attended this before have any tips for where to go tips etc for someone going as a spectator to this event?
