Did an awesome ride yesterday. The 2010 TXC250 continues to impress and gets better every ride. This area is in the coast range, mud, clay, logs, stick, steep, looooog hill climbs. 07 WR250 husky, KX250, KTM 300 and the TXC was catching and passing them on hills at will and felt like a 400. That sucker is a mountain goat. It was one of those days were everything is perfect and it feels like you can do no wrong. FUN 62.5 miles of FUN. pix - http://motosportz.smugmug.com/Motorcycles/1-3-10-Ginger-Creek/10856065_tt4UD#757366501_3juZX Vids (look for Ginger Creek stuff) - http://www.youtube.com/user/Motosportz This vid we run into a dude on a 86 250. He thinks were on Hondas and i need to point at the husky and then at his the second half of the vid the hill is much steeper than it looks. Fun climbs the TXC destroyed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqHgPgnaDAc Some pix... Some vid... Good quality video-thanks for sharing it with us. By the way where is the snow-should we be worriying about the winter olympics yet?
Nice! I haven't been to GC in a year or two, but I do love that place. I'm going to try to ride from GC to Hollywood one of these days. You know the route?
We did that yesterday. 60 plus mile loop. Might hit it again next weekend if you would like to join us.
Kelly did you stage from here? Happy ASS, I was there yesterday to, in your first video going down E fork Bypass I can see the 3 tracks we left before you guys. You are right about how perfect it was up there yesterday. Traction was awesome. Just a few days ago it was all frozen and a little snow everywhere. That area is my back door, hard area to beat for difficulty and and sweet trails. Nice videos
Saw Chris at the outpost for Breakfast, but didnt ride with him, I would sure like try one of those txc 250 sometime, I want to by another Husky to replace the yz for races, I would probaly lean towards the wr250, but need to try the txc sometime. I rode a 08 wr250 in CO this summer and fell right at home on it. Yes it was a perfect day.
Looks like a great area. I wouldn't mind heading down there it looks a LOT dryer than up here, how do I find it?
Pretty much have to have someone show you, unmarked roads to unmarked trails that end at roads. If you head this way let me know.
Did not ride with him, but did talk to them in the resturant, and I am so bad with names, dont know the names, but he new me, we have ran into each other before.
