I am on the fence about selling my 510, I got the bike intending it to be my ds. but it is too much a dirt bike. So I got the 610 and hit a home run with this bike as it is exactly what I was looking for. The 510 is a brute in the woods but a total gas when it opens up. I wanted something for the single line and just got a 08 honda 250x with only 59 miles on it and love this bike as it has a full FMF Q4 exhaust and handguards and rules the tight stuff. The 510 has a magic to it but realisticly don't think I will ride it much. I was thinking getting wheels for the 510 and have some fun on the street, If I did this I could have 3 sets of wheels for the 510/610, super moto/ds/and dirt. This would cover just about any type of riding with this setup and the honda. I think I may have answered my own question. Has anyone gotten wheels and what advice would you have?

I find the 510 OK in the S/T stuff but you really need to get yourself on a smaller bike to appreciate true S/T riding. I really hate putting my bike on a trailer to go riding. There's something about leaving from you house to go riding for the day that intrigues me.
Long story short a guy really needs a couple (or more) bikes. The 610 would be perfect for D/S rides. Fireroads, D/T open S/T etc. But you also have the ability to rip down a hwy all day if you want.

The 510 will struggle if ridden on the hwy all day.

What year is your 610? Have you checked the Classifieds for rims?
