Compression; Low speed is the inner screw, the high speed is the outer (red) part.
Rebound is the bottom 'register' adjuster at the bottom of the shock (extension)
Keep a note of what you start with and what you adjust to so you can keep track and return to step 1 if needs be! ;)

so force of my weight pressing down on bike is regulated by inner scre low speed compression(correct)but on bottom of shock it says hard and soft this is actually the rebound (yes) so if i get chattering when braking hard down hill and loss of traction what do i need harder or softer rebound.(this is opposite way arround to forks yes, compression on bottom and rebound on top)

Its not easy to diagnose a problem without knowing what the combined settings are. ie If the front isn't setup correctly it can transfer reactions to the rear or vice-versa.
Are your springs correct for your weight?
Have you the correct sag settings?
    Are the settings Balanced?
If all the above are OK then take a srewdriver out with you and try tweeking things.
But I think you will always have a problem like that on hard braking downhill. I'm not a suspension guru so I will leave that part to those who are in the know. :excuseme:
