So I own a bike called a DAB LM-S a custom build bike by a French company but the bike originally started off as a SWM 500 R. I’ve had some issues with the starter motor and managed to get a repair done but the guy who fixed it said it was cheap junk. So I was wondering if there is an alternative option, the husky 510 starter motors don’t seem to be readily available. I have seen some online conversations about a Ducati starter motor that fits, I was hoping someone might be able to tell me which one I should be looking for and any information on the conversion would be great. Getting stranded once is enough for me I’d rather fit something that’s tried and tested reliable.
