Are any TR owners around the Sydney region keen to meet up for a ride ? Maybe meet up at Kulnura and go for ride around the Wattagans or down to St Albans. We could even get some regular rides going. Cheers Craig
Cast the net a bit wider and make it an overnighter? Comparing TR's over a couple of beers, would be the go.
Hi T-S I am open to suggestions. Any excuse for bikes, beer and camping is always good ! Cheers Craig
Possiblity also for an overnighter halfway between two places, like the way the annual NSW/VIC ADVRider meetup is organised in Delegate or Jingellic.
I'm listening Nev. You never no we might get a ride up and happening one day. Let's wait and see if we can get any takers. Cheers.
I am based in North West Sydney not far from Berowra, only a 21 year old but very keen on a ride with some fellow TR's i have been flogging it a bit around St albans and the wattagans, been looking at doing a zig zag to bathhurst ride soon also.
The advrider.com vic/nsw meetup is usually around the first week of May, and from memory I took my Terra up to the 2013 meet in Delegate, so I expect that it's back in Delegate in May 2015. In the first week of May 2015 I'll be picking up a couple of rental bikes in Portland OR for a month long riding holiday through Western USA / Canada.
Guys...THIS is how it's done! http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/aus-melbourne-tr-muster-2014-kinglake-29-nov.45310/ Quit farting around, just set a date, place and time...and get the show on the road. Post it up on ADVrider/ Offroadexplorer and a few other forums. If only one shows up, so be it....if 10 rock up, so much the better.
Anyone, feel free to ride past Adelaide....anybody. ......Adelaide..hmmm?...... ride past ,nearby... someone... Love to meet another Terra Type.....sigh
How about lots of kisses and a Xmas card to kick things off? Looks like you guys have to head towards Vic and the "rust-belt" for some company, ay? Any TR-ists along the way from SouthEast Qld to about Albury? The Austouring mob is leaving the Bris area for Rainbow Beach in late March for some beach riding and joy-flights on/ over Fraser Island, then slowly bumble and zigzag their way south across the Great Dividing Range towards Albury/ Wodonga over a fortnight. Mainly twintrack dirt and gravel, National Parks, State Forests and all that... Bunya Mntns., Border Ranges, Clarence, Old Grafton Rd, Dorrigo area, Barrington Tops etc etc. Cruisy days, lots of photos, backroads only. No TR's in the pack, but it's a small group of 6 at this stage. Well...you said ANYBODY! :-P There are a couple of TR-owners amongst it, though....just riding their other bikes.
