So who is making a good tall seat for the new huskys. Anybody got reviews. The husky hardparts seat looks good but does it suck as much as the stock seat? Thanks guys

I have a 2014 factory Husky tall and like it allot. It's actually very comfortable. I just wish it was taller.

Sadly, in my case it didn't help much. We see so many short guy threads but not many tall guy threads. The factory tall seat IMO is really a standard height seat because it still has a goofy banana shape to it so sliding forward with a ton of bend in the knees is not easy. I expected the tall version to be flat from end to end but it's not. I searched high and low (see what I did there) for an actual tall seat but nobody lists one. I guess a guy could have a custom one made from Renazco. KTM offers a tall and extra tall for the orange bikes, it's about time they step up with the white versions.

If it doesn't work for me...which I think it will because the stock seat works ok, Im just a little cramped, but I mostly stand/crouch anyway and trials guys don't even have seats!.
I will go to Guts and order up the tall firm with a tall seat cover. we have a (many) local upholstery guys that we use to do our seats for super fair price (easier to pay the sweet price for a pro job) , rather than my decent ammie upholstery job.
GUTS RACING -I've used their products a bunch of times in the past, top tier gear, US made, customer service top notch, well made, sturdy, hard to beat up.

This my preference (disclaimer) I don't like seat concepts they seem to me to be designed for sit down riders and sort of lock (me) into a pocket of their shape/cut choosing. Yes I have used them they are comfortable.
I like slab seats/flat top types, without too much waist , meaning top edges hourglass shape. I like my seats almost rectangular. Mind y'all this is my ergo preference. If I did more long distance road type and open area riding the seat concepts, Renazco type "rally" seats would be great. Most of my day rides are under 120 miles and fairly hardcore, lots of attack position riding.

maybe these guys will eventually have enough response for husky orders to something...(tough with the composite subframe, but Im sure some sort of solution can be found.)

They claim to be working on it now. We'll see. $1000 is really steep...

From what I can tell 20mm taller isent enough. Has anybody taken the ktm tall seat foam and cover And put it on the stock seat pan?

their kit is comprehensive and the fact that they wont sell a huge number keeps the the kit pricey.

I wish they'd sell parts alacart. With the lectron, you need to cut the air boot back and with the 2 tall, you need to extend so I'd probably not need the extension and I don't need the bar riser either, alreay have them. Ala cart would be a better option. I'd need the tank rubber, the subframe extensions, silencer extension and the shock extension. The rad shroud hooks are generic as well.

I have been using the Husky Power tall seat on my 15 TE300 with good results. I was using Renthal RC Hi fat bars, but they were to high with the Scotts sub mount stabilizer. Went a stock KTM set of Neken bars from 14 300 XCW and it was much better. I do have a Guts tall/firm and cover that am going to try. I am 6'4", with bad knees. I stand a lot, but at 60, I need all the help I can get.

I like my factory tall but it's still not very tall. Wish they offered an extra tall like ktm does. Hohumm

additional I installed the Husky power parts high seat onto my 2014 TE300, I like it a lot for even the tightest trails, it just opened up the cockpit.
But I have not gotten adjusted yet to the real hardcore rocky stuff, that extra inch on seat bounces and reaching dab spots is still awkward. I had a few get offs in familiar sections due to being a little off my normal cg. I will get used to it, as for me I don't use raised bars, I would rather get into low attack position and weight the front (riders ergo choice).
