I'm looking for a small-ish tank bag for the 09 TE510. I'd like to be able to put an extra can of fuel in it and some tools, sandwich, etc. for longer rides. Nothing extreme, but something well made. I searched a bit and only found a thread with a Wolfman Enduro on a 610 thanks
I personally just use a backpack- Makes me feel weightless when I take it off. I am short (so fender bags get in the way of swinging my leg over), and stand alot (so tank bags would be painful on my personal items) so I stick to a backpack and only bring what is needed (which is more than I usually need/but have stuff to help other people). Haven't been on a ride where someone else didn't need something I had. But Giant loop makes some real nice options for strapping stuff on your bike: http://www.giantloopmoto.com/collections/giant-loop-gear-collection The Loop would probably work for me if I did an unorganized (non-event) long trip. (doesn't happen enough unfortunately)
I use a Giant Loop Fandango on my TE250 and then use it to carry an MSR fuel bottle if Im going someplace where that might be an issue. It works great, and I can easily transfer it to my Buell for road rides.
