I used a Wolfman Small Expedition for a while that I've had on other bikes, but picked up a Giant Loop Fandango.
The Expedition is a great bag, but more fiddly to get into... two buckles, a strap, and a cinch loop.

The Fandango is extremely well made, is a great fit on the Terra, and it's conventional top zip is simpler to use.

I went with the Giant Loop Fandango and it is a perfect fit. It looks like it was made for the Terra. I especially like how it swings out of the way for fueling after half unzipping it. After scuffing the plastics on my KLR 650, I also got the clear plastic protector shields for the Terra. Only need it for where the straps are. I had plenty left over and intend to put some on the plastic gauges which have been reported to scratch easily.

Perfect fit, but rather small. Pair of gloves, wallet and cellphone is all it can hold. Very well made. To small IMO. I think the Wolfman Explorer light will be the perfect choice in volume and size for ADV touring on the Terra/Strada .

I've got the Motech/Bags Connection medium strap-on enduro tank bag. It has a integrated zipped pop-up extension to provide more space. I can carry spot tracker/mobile/glasses/camera/cables/psi gauge/snacks/bottle of water etc. It is probably the largest size I would feel comfortable with whilst standing on the pegs. The bag section can be unzipped so you can take your valuables with you when you leave your bike.

Unclip the back and it easily swings out of the way when refuelling. I have covered the bikes side & top panels and where the strap connects to the frame in clear film to prevent rubbing. I like it a lot and can recommend it.

I've had some interesting problems with tank bag induced turbulence in the past. Anybody had issues with this on any of the previously mentioned bags?

Were does one find those clear plastic tank protectors?
I currently have the larger Wolfmann Expediton bag but it is a little big, thinking about the Fandango

I just picked up the Wolfman small expedition. I was going back and forth on it or the Fandango, but was ordering some other Wolfman stuff so I included their tank bag thinking I would return it if I didn't like it. Turns out it's a keeper, and I really like the way it fits. As blakebird mentions, it's a bit fiddly using straps rather than a zipper, but in the end I found it really intuitive.

The coolest part for me was my spare shield fits great around the rear perimeter.

I bought a couple of metres of clear protective film off ebay. Cheap stuff for car bonnets. It works a treat.
