From what I understand, the 2010 fit all the criteria for homologation. If you fail on your homologation attempt you can never try to homologate that model ever again. Husky may see how many units are in the country for sale before they do the 2011.

Remember this list was created on August 31 2010 and how many 2011 TC 250's were in the country?
You must have 400 units ready for sale before you can apply for homologation.

What? What kind of BS is this 'if you fail' line?

The door is open for Husky :) ... We just need riders!

    it's the AMA ray-ray, the Allyer-Moneybelongstome-Association.

remember what happened to paul lima at GH w/ his '08?
I lost all repsect for the AMA after that. esp since Husky'd been racing AMA supermoto for how long? yeh- dont want some privateer showing up on a bone stock bike beating stewart and the boys now do ya...lol.
only thing they're concerned with is promoting their "racing agenda" and bottom line, not riders or riding. please dont get me started......

good news for the TC250, finally!

I'm feeling really good on the Husky direction with bmw pushing ... bmw is big enough to deal with the ama :) ... Some hot shot is gonna make a splash on a TC250 for all to see this year maybe ... We need camera time ..any camera time will be great!

It's a crappy rule for small European manufacturers and good for Japanese manufacturers and they like it that way.

    Who is this hot shot?
Wishfull thinking ray_ray, but I don't see any splash being made until they sign a top 5 rider and Husky still needs a ton of R&D, race data etc to even think of competing at the top level, give them a season or three before you get too excited. The big splash won't happen overnight, Husky is still cutting their teeth..... again.

I know ,I know the answer...get that fast teen from Germany,Ken Roczen, off that pumpkin and put him on the Husky!Might be made in Italy but the "parents" of this exceptional bike are in Germany. Ok BMW, do your thing and post some money on this kid.
Looks like Mikey likes his new TC 250...[IMG]

Wow! Nice pic and it has a black frame! That bike are rider look awfully fast!

I'm really tired of hearing Huskies can't compete. Its BS ... the sames bikes have dominated SM for yrs in EU and even won in EU SX a couple yrs back ... We podium enduro races word wide in all types of races ... Huskies only needs top riders, same as all the other brands and bmw is starting to park the correct guys on their bikes ... Get ready to be amazed ....

Is carbon fiber that much lighter than plastic for a tank? Looks like maybe 2 different types of KYB forks also ... Maybe a chrome water pump cover?

They race at GH May 15th :) .... Husky camera time 4 sure....

We were at Supercross in Oakland on Saturday. It would have been nice to seen a Husky there to break up that sea of Yamaha's. I think KTM is drunk on race gas thinking their 350 stands a chance against the 450's in SX. We don't see CRF 150R's out there racing in the lites.

Bank on it that the carbon tank may hold a little more fuel (educated guess) and/or put it's cg in a different spot. Carbon subframe, strong light and most likely with molded in specially shaped airbox/plenum for optimum intake air flow, or it may be layed in over the Al frame to box in the airbox.
GP bikes have some neat stuff and they use lots of R&D facilities like perhaps BMW's for example.

AS has ridden a 450 for the past several years and has always been beaten by the same guys that are beating him now ... He is maybe 1-2 places down from usual finishing and that is to be expected on a new bike with a new suspension on a new team ... Did U see AS last week put the pass on Hot Sauce for the 9th place finish? It ain't the bike...its the rider... They are advertising their product... It competes with the 450s ...it finishes in front of over half of them each week ... It out runs 450s every week ... Is that is terrible? lol... U 450 guys just gonna have to get used to it.

Husky will be advertising their product when they show up on at the starting gate .. Are they gonna win every race? I doubt it and that is not the point. They will be advertising their product... Higher finishes help and will get more advertising time (camera time) but being on camera is what counts. These are very cool bikes and you gotta dress them up and take them out on a date ... Leaving them at home gets you no where ...
