Guys, anyone know the top speed of the 01-02 TC570's that had only the 4 gears from the factory? Can anyone speak to these? I couldn't find anything when googling top speeds of the TCs. Is it a close ratio 4 speed, wide, or standard? I'm simply trying to understand the main differences between the TE and TC 570 when it comes to gearing, top speed, laying the power down, etc? Also, if anyone else knows of any major difference other than the size of the rear wheel, I'd love to understand those things too. Thanks!!
Lost it. Oh well. It wasn't as nice as shape as I wanted, so not a huge loss. It sold this early AM. Now just pure curiosity about the TC570 based on my first set of q's.
He said the motor was making noise as well, with as rare that bike is it seems things could get a bit hairy. I couldn't find one review of the bike from anyone.
There were some repairs made to the trans cover too, it had a crack in it, and they had to double up on gaskets to get it to hold without leaking. He couldn't really expound on the engine noise, not sure what that was all about, but yeah, like you said, could get a bit hairy. That bike is VERY rare for sure. No one has any discussions on it really, just like what you discovered. Super rare.
I guess youd have to buy it just to learn anything about it. With repairs and anything not oem it will be tough to get to know it while undoing previous owners" upgrades" generally anything people improve up they screw up. If you could find one box stock and low hours that would be worth it
Agree with that man. I've never seen a mint TC570 ever. They're always a bit worn. I think there is a guy on this board that did a conversion to an SM from one of these..... quite interesting. I'll have a much better chance of finding a nice TE570 instead.
Hey Ryan, have you seen this super clean 410 at Bill's with a Rekluse? http://billshusky.com/archives/2372
Hey man, good find! Hope you're well. Yes, saw that a while back. If I didn't have mine, I would have grabbed that one for sure. Quite nice, isn't it!
Here you go Ryan and it's only a 2+ hour drive for me, if you want me to check it out. http://buffalo.craigslist.org/mcd/4339071763.html
yzrider, def the lowest hour TC610 that I've ever seen in existence. Not bad! Price is crazy, otherwise nice bike. However, the steering angle, flywheel, internal engine diffs of 570 get my vote, so a TC570 would be more interesting to me over a TC610. If I could afford to have it and collect it, now that's another thing, haha... neat find man. Hey Norm!! Yes, I actually put an offer on that one last wk. Quite fair too. He had to replace flywheel since magnets were falling apart just after he got it from owner, and it wasn't fixable at the time to him, so he went with OEM, and so the dealer is in too far $$ wise to let it go at market pricing, so we'll see. Very kind of you to offer to see for me! I was going to ask your opinion, but I didn't want to put any burden on you whatsoever. But yes, I do/did want it.
