I have purchased TCI products for a DR650 and was very pleased, called them when I bought the Terra to see if they were going to make anything for the Terra. As soon as they borrowed a bike they went to work. Very pleased with the results and have since ordered skid plate /engine guard, rear rack and windshield. They will start a production as more orders come in. You all need to order some stuff so they will build my stuff sooner. just asking nicely :-)

I find it funny how certain adjectives seem prevalent in certain locations. For instance, I rarely hear anyone use the term "beefy" except on Cafe Husky. So when I do hear someone use it in person, it makes me want to ask them if they own a Husky.
The TCI stuff for our bikes is some quality stuff. I personally think the skid plate/engine guard combo is the best out there. The racks are top notch, too.
Don't have them yet. I went with the Denali racks and the Denali tail bag. I intend to use my Ortlieb QLR2 bags with them. My card still hasn't been charged, so I'm assuming I'm still at the back of the line.
I'm guessing Tom finally got enough orders to do a big production run to include some inventory to stock. My package includes the Denali rack system and a Denali tailbag, and the box is listed at 19lbs. I'm guessing the packaging probably adds 3lbs to the rack at most. I will weigh it all before I put it on, and a install report will follow. Box should arrive on Tuesday.
Seeing that tail rack gives me a chub. I can't wait to get these things on Tuesday. These racks, along with my newly acquired heated gear will make the TR650 my year-round commuter of choice.
So I came home today to find a package that I'd been anticipating for quite some time. Everything was packed well, and the racks with bubble wrap weighed in at 12.8lbs. Hardware pack was complete and good quality. So to install it, remove the old rack. It is just 4 bolts. Put the spacers in place like so... And bolt it in. And this is what you get. However, I got the Denali system, so I have a couple more goodies to bolt on. These will support the racks. They connect to your upper exhaust bracket with 13mm bolts. The old bolts are 12mm. Put a wrench on the outside and a socket on the inside and hop to it. I removed the heat shields, but you really don't have to. Your new 13mm bolt is longer, and will connect the support on the inside of the bracket. And bolts on at the bottom of the rack. Then, you bolt on your bag support if you want it there.
