    Hi there,
I would like to request, how to remove the crank bearings of a TE 310 2011. The manual is stating to heat up the case to aprx. 125 degrees celsius ( 260 F ) and than to drive in the new bearings. No big deal so far. Guess the same temperature will work for disassembly but I miss info for the removal of the screws securing the bearing retaining plates. These screws are secured with Loctite 270 which is high-strength treadlocker. Will these screws break loose when the case is heatet to 260F ? At room temperature the screws won't loosen and I fear to destroy the allen/ torx heads.

Any info would be a big help,
    Thanks Al

The thread locker should break loose at that temp. Give the screws a good whack with a small hammer before you try to loosen them
