These are both identical bikes, identical fairings, identical motors but the TE610 has 6 more HP than the SM610!? Here's proof from motorcyclespecs.co.za SM610 http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/husqvana/husqvarna_sm610s.htm TE610 http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/husqvana/husqvarna_te610e 96.htm I would normally put this down to publishing discrepancies but I have read on multiple forums reports of the TE610 having arm pumping power. How can I unlock the extra 6 HP from my SM610!?
I'm no expert but I seem to recall them having different ECU's...thus a power output difference. Someone more knowledgeable will chime in on this, I'm sure.
I made two accounts way back when I registered and sometimes I get them muddled up. If that is true then I want that ECU in my SM610. Immediately!!
Read the chart sm is 45@ 6750rpm The te is 51@ 7300rpm Lets see em both N/A back to back on dymo at same revs. That may explain something...
