    Hi guys,

    I got a problem with my rear brake rotor. It seems to be loose and makes clonking rattling noise when driving.

    It is supposed to be like this or is it worn?
    Read that there is supposed to be floating rotor on this bike. Is it worth changing to solid disc? Whats the difference?

    Yes it is a floating rotor and it does rattle and make noise.

    Floating should be technically superior to a solid disc, but I doubt if you feel the difference. The previous owner of my bike changed the stock disc for a solid disc by "Braking" just to get rid of the noise;

    Just pay attention when buying the disc to get the right screws as the screws suitable for floating disk+pawls are too small for the fixed one. If you buy the disc as a husqvarna spare you have to buy the screws separately while buying the "Braking" disc, like the one in the pic above, they are supplied in the box together with the disc
