I'd had my 2011 TE310 apart for a head gasket repair which was done professionally. I put the bike back together myself (apart from the cylinder and head which was done by the mechanic) and am now experiencing issues with my fuel pump. On first start up, the fuel pump primed and I could hear a healthy noise. The bike would idle perfectly. Progressively over a half hour period, the fuel pump started to sound worse and worse, and when riding/idling it the bike would cut out. This eventuated in the fuel pump not working at all, just a clicking noise coming from Relay 11 - which controls the fuel pump, injection system etc.

I've tested the resistance of through the pump and it reads 2.2ohms, and from what i've read, that's sufficient. I've also directly powered the pump with a 12v battery and it works as normal. I've checked the voltage I am receiving at my relay and it's works as intended, dropping to 8-10volts when the pump is initiated. I tested the voltage received at the connector which plugs into the tank to power the fuel pump and i'm receiving no voltage. I'm assuming between the relay and the connector for the fuel pump, there is an electrical fault.

How would I check for this issue?

Turns out there was a faulty connection, fuel pump working and bike running!
